A Muslim cleric has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen along the Kaduna-Jos expressway.
News reports have revealed that an Alfa who serves as the administrative secretary of the Jama’atu Nasirl Islam, JNI, in Plateau State, has been kidnapped.
The victim, Abdulaziz Yusuf, was reportedly kidnapped in the evening on Wednesday, November 16, along the Kaduna- Jos expressway
According to the reports, Yusuf was heading home from Kaduna state where he had gone to pay a condolence visit to the Family of the late Sultan of Sokoto, Ibrahim Dasuki, who passed away on Tuesday, November 15. Yusuf was abducted along with his driver.
The state police command is reportedly working hard to rescue both victims.
