Two Abeokuta police officers are being accused of shooting two students of the the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, FUNAAB.
The shooting is said to have occurred during a peaceful protest where the students took to the streets to speak against the lack of security in the hostels.
Due to the lack of security in the environs surrounding the school, the students were constant victims of robbery with their girls being easy targets for rape.
Taking to Twitter, the students have began a hashtag #SaveFunnab to create massive awareness on what’s happening in their school.
As at the time of this report, FUNAAB students has been asked to stay in their hostels until peace returns.
